My office was closed on Friday for Independence Day, so Lincoln and I decided to take advantage of the long weekend and make a last-minute roadtrip to Athens, Ohio to visit his GGma and GGpa (my dad’s parents). He was such a trooper in the car (8+ hours each way) and we had a wonderful time. We arrived around 6:00 on Friday and spent the evening with GGma and GGpa, Uncle Ron (my dad’s brother) and Aunt Lynne, my cousin,
Nathan, his wife, Emily, and their new baby, Hunter. On Saturday, my Aunt Bonnie (my mom’s sister) and Uncle Dave were sweet enough to drive down to my grandparents house to spend some time with us. Then, on Saturday evening, Aunt Lynne put together a huge cookout so that Lincoln could meet even more family. It was so great to see everyone!
Visiting with GGma (she has lots of good stories to tell about Grandpa!)
Happy to be in GGpa's arms
Playtime with GGpa
Uncle Ron and Aunt Lynne get some smiles too.
Cousins and wee cousins. My cousin, Nathan, and his new baby, Hunter.
Little buddies. (Hunter makes Lincoln look so big!)
Thank you, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Dave, for making the drive to visit with us.
We love Aunt Bonnie!
Lincoln laughed and laughed for Uncle Dave
GGma and GGpa with 2 of their 3 great-grandsons (we missed the rest of the gang!). Can you believe the boys outnumber the girls now?
My grandparents are amazing.

thank you Heather for all the traveling time for the wonderful visit. Lincoln is such a happy baby! Let's make plans to see them together again before they are all grown!
I sure do wish I could have gone. We need to get together and find some dates that would work with all of us. Love you!
The little green monster jumped out a little bit while looking at the pictures...I really would have LOVED to see everybody. Heather, you look amazing! And Lincoln is getting so BIG. I love the picture of him with Uncle Dave. I can't wait to see you.
